William Phillips, Ph.D., is the Dean of the Colleges of Engineering & Information Sciences and Media Arts & Technology at DeVry University, a position he has held since March 2019. Previously, he served as an Associate Dean overseeing programs in the College of Engineering & Information Sciences for over a decade. Before entering academia, he worked in the Semiconductor Industry for nearly 10 years in research, production, and training roles. He holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois, an M.S. in Biomedical Engineering, and a Ph.D. in Bioengineering from Arizona State University.
