Wilfred Dolfsma is a Professor of Business Management & Organisation at Wageningen University & Research since June 2018. His research focuses on how firms and individuals collaborate for innovation and entrepreneurship, drawing on social network analysis, institutional economics, and social exchange theory. He has authored/edited over 30 books and 200+ articles, with notable works on government failure, social economics, and innovation networks.
Research Interests: Innovation ecosystems, institutional economics, digital transformation in agri-food systems, organizational resilience, and circular economy. His interdisciplinary approach bridges business strategy, organizational behavior, and policy analysis. Recent work explores AI-driven drug discovery partnerships and sustainability in construction industries.
