Stefano Pascucci

Stefano Pascucci is a Professor in Sustainability and Circular Economy at the University of Exeter Business School, where he serves as Deputy Head of the Department of Science, Innovation, Technology and Entrepreneurship (SITE). He is also a Research Fellow at the Environment and Sustainability Institute (ESI) and a Research Affiliate at Exeter Centre for the Circular Economy (ECCE). Additionally, he holds a Part-time Professor position at the University of Auckland Business School (NZ) and is a Visiting Researcher at Wageningen University's Business Management and Organization group (NL).

His research focuses on the interplay between sustainability, innovation, and value chain configurations in agri-food systems. He explores topics such as collaborative innovation, circular economy transitions, alternative food networks, and configurational analysis for sustainable agri-food value chains. Recent work includes studies on SMEs' adoption of circular economy, consumer participation in sustainable business models, and policy challenges in agri-food innovation.

Stefano has received funding from Marie Curie for postdoctoral research and collaborates with institutions like Wageningen University and the Ronald Coase Institute. He serves on the editorial board of the British Food Journal and contributes to the Institutional and Organizational Economics Academy. His professional activities include visiting researcher roles, teaching, and interdisciplinary collaborations with stakeholders in agri-food and sustainability.
