Wiff Rudd is a Professor of Trumpet and Brass Area Coordinator at Baylor University's School of Music since 2002. He previously held academic positions at Oklahoma Baptist University (Assistant Professor of Music, 1978–1985) and the University of Arkansas (Associate Professor of Music, 1998–2002). A distinguished performer, he serves as principal trumpet with the Waco Symphony and frequently collaborates with orchestras like Houston, Dallas, and Harrisburg Symphonies. His global impact includes over 350 masterclasses and performances across five continents, with notable appearances at Carnegie Hall and the National Trumpet Competition.
