Wendy Brown

Prof. Dr. Wendy Brown is a faculty member at the University of California, Berkeley, affiliated with the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. In 2018, she led the Lucerne Master Class titled Where Liberal Democracy Once Was: Liberal Authoritarianism in the Twenty-First Century, part of the series on 'The Culture of Markets.'

Research Interests: Brown's work focuses on political theory, neoliberalism, and authoritarianism, examining the erosion of liberal democratic norms in contemporary societies.
