Weiling Deng

Dr. Weiling Deng is an Assistant Professor in the Core Division at Champlain College, serving as Third Year Faculty Lead and contributing to the development of the Digital Humanities curriculum. She holds a Ph.D. in Social Sciences and Comparative Education from UCLA. Her research focuses on Global Asias, Urban Humanities, transnational feminism, and postsocialist studies, emphasizing experiential learning and critical engagement with Vermont's immigrant communities.

Her current projects include co-authoring a book on panorama museums as grassroots public art spaces and a second monograph examining transpacific Chinese feminist activism. Publications appear in South Asian Review, Verge: Studies in Global Asias, and Los Angeles Review of Books.
