Wei Shan Chia

Wei Shan Chia is a Lecturer at the School of Architecture and Landscape, University of Sheffield. She has led Year One teaching since 2014 and coordinates modules like ARC101, ARC102, and LSC136. Her professional practice as a director at CW2/Architects focuses on bespoke dwellings, social housing, art galleries, and educational buildings.

Her research explores the spatial configurations of East and West learning environments and their relationship to pedagogy. She presented a paper at the Sino-UK Architecture Symposium in 2014. Previously, she worked as a Project Architect at Alison Brooks Architects on Stirling Prize-nominated housing developments and held roles at DSDHA and Studio Shanghai.

As an educator, she emphasizes architectural design and pedagogy, bridging academic and professional practice. Her affiliations include Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) and Fellow of Higher Education Academy (FHEA).
