Walid A. Saleh is a Professor of Islamic Studies at the University of Toronto, holding appointments in both the Near and Middle Eastern Civilizations department and the Department for the Study of Religion. His scholarship focuses on the Qur’an, Quranic exegesis (Tafsir), Islamic apocalyptic literature, and Biblical reception in Islam.
