W. Craig Sutherland

W. Craig Sutherland serves as a Lecturer in the Department of Woodwinds, Brass and Percussion at the Eastman School of Music, University of Rochester, and concurrently holds the position of Principal Tubist with the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra since 2004.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Music Education from the University of Michigan
• Master's degree from The Juilliard School (awarded full scholarship)

• Primary focus on tuba, euphonium, and baritone instruments
• Extensive orchestral and chamber music expertise
