Vladimir Dimitrov

Dr. Vladimir Dimitrov is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Fine Arts, New Bulgarian University. He specializes in Bulgarian Renaissance art, iconography, and cultural heritage preservation. His research focuses on the artistic legacy of Bulgarian National Revival period, including church murals, iconography, and cultural tourism. He is a member of ICOMOS, AIKA, and the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences.

His educational background includes a degree in Art History from New Bulgarian University. He has authored over 40 articles and books, including monographs on Zograph families and Bulgarian religious art. Recent works include studies on murals in the Gorban Monastery and the art of Costantin Gerov-Antikarov.
