Anning Jing is a Professor in the Department of Art and Art History at Michigan State University, affiliated with the College of Arts and Letters. He holds a Ph.D. in Chinese Art from Princeton University (1994) and has taught at MSU since 1995. His research focuses on Daoist art, popular culture artworks, Shanxi murals, Yuan Buddhist art, cross-cultural artistic connections, and Chinese landscape painting.
