Vinzenz Rast

Vinzenz Rast is a Lecturer and Head of the Competence Center for Business Communication at the Lucerne School of Business (HSLU). He holds a lic. phil. in German Philology, Political Science, and Modern German Literature from the University of Bern, and a CAS in Visual Communication from MAZ Luzern. His research focuses on business communication in German, multimodal text competence, and generative AI applications in professional settings.

Key research projects include 'Videografied Berufspraxis für die Wirtschaft' and the cantonal project 'Nidwalden 2025'. He runs 'Büro für Sprache GmbH', a consultancy since 1997, specializing in corporate communication and writing coaching. His work bridges academic research with practical applications, such as leadership communication strategies and digital credentialing using AI.

Publications span AI ethics in business communication, NLP for corporate culture analysis, and multimodal education methods. He frequently presents at conferences like EUKO and collaborates with industry on AI adoption studies. His contributions include curriculum development for professional communication training and leadership pedagogy.
