Victoria Wagner

Victoria Wagner is Assistant Professor and Assistant Chair of the First Year Core Studio Program at California College of the Arts. Her interdisciplinary practice combines painting, sculpture, and installation to explore environmental themes and material relationships.

Her research examines intersections of environmental crisis, feminism, and materiality through site-specific installations and public art. She investigates how natural materials like reclaimed redwood can convey ecological narratives while challenging traditional art forms. Wagner's work emphasizes the role of beauty in environmental discourse and material transformation.

Publications document her investigations into material resonance and the ecological consciousness of art-making. Her exhibitions consistently explore how industrial and organic materials converse within spatial contexts.
