Victoria Tink

Victoria Tink is a Visiting Professor of Building Science at Loughborough University’s School of Architecture, Building and Civil Engineering. She concurrently serves as a building scientist at the Building Safety Regulator, where she leads technical policy development for energy efficiency, overheating, and ventilation standards in residential buildings. Her work includes authoring key documents such as Approved Documents L, F, and O (2021), and leading consultations on Building Regulations.

Her research focuses on building performance, evidence-based policy development, and the Future Homes Standard. Victoria holds a PhD from Loughborough University, where her doctoral research examined energy efficiency and overheating risks in the existing housing stock. She has extensive experience managing research projects that bridge academic insights with practical regulatory frameworks.
