About
Victor Robles Sanchez is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics, Applied Physics & Astronomy at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute's School of Science. His research focuses on Dark Matter, Galaxy Formation, and the application of Artificial Intelligence to Computational Astrophysics, with additional interests in quantum-like dark matter and cosmological simulations of the Milky Way and Local Universe.
- Member of the Feedback in Realistic Environments (FIRE) collaboration
- DREAMS project collaborator
- Affiliated with the Center for Computational Innovations (CCI)
He teaches core physics and astronomy courses, including PHYS 1200 (Physics II) and ASTR 2050 (Intro to Astronomy & Astrophysics). Recent publications emphasize cosmological simulations of fuzzy dark matter and its implications for galactic structure evolution.
