Prof. Dr. Vesna Dimitrievska is a Full Professor at the Institute of Sociology, Faculty of Philosophy, University St. Cyril and Methodius in Skopje. She holds a PhD in Sociology from the same institution (2002), with earlier degrees from the Faculty of Law (MA 1993, BA 1984). Her career spans over three decades, including roles as Deputy Head of Postgraduate Studies (2005), member of the National Statistics Council (2007–present), and President of the Association of Sociologists of Macedonia (2011–2014).
