Veronica Rodriguez-Bravo

Dr. Veronica Rodriguez-Bravo is an Associate Professor in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Mayo Clinic, with a joint appointment in the Department of Urology. Her research focuses on understanding mechanisms of genome integrity and stability in cancer, particularly in aggressive prostate cancers. She leads the Genome Function, Stability and Nuclear Organization in Cancer Laboratory, affiliated with the Mayo Clinic Comprehensive Cancer Center.

Education:

• PhD (Summa Cum Laude) in Pathology and Cell Biology, University of Barcelona
• Postdoctoral Research in Molecular Biology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center
• Postdoctoral Fellowship in Experimental Oncology at University Medical Center Utrecht

• Role of nuclear pore complex proteins in genome regulation
• Chromosomal instability in aggressive cancers
• Transcriptional rewiring in prostate cancer progression
• Identification of therapeutic vulnerabilities in therapy-resistant tumors
