Vera Wriedt is a Researcher at the Hertie School’s Centre for Fundamental Rights, focusing on borders, expulsions, human rights, and postcolonial and feminist theories. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from Oxford University, a Master of Laws in Human Rights from Birkbeck University of London, and a Master of Arts for Research in Social Sciences from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.
Research Interests: Vera’s work centers on critical analyses of migration law, border regimes, and human rights violations. She applies postcolonial and feminist frameworks to interrogate global governance structures and their socio-political implications.
