Vassos Koutsioundas

Vassos Koutsioundas is a Lecturer in Accounting and Finance at the University of Central Lancashire Cyprus. Holding a BA in Industrial Economics from the University of Nottingham (1995), a Chartered Accountant qualification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (1998), and an Advanced Examination in Financial Services Regulatory Framework from CySEC (2018), he brings extensive expertise in financial governance and regulation. His professional experience includes serving as Financial Controller/Head of Finance Division at the Cyprus Sports Organisation (KOA) since 2002, alongside his ongoing PhD research at UCLan UK.

Research Focus: His specialization centers on implementing good governance frameworks in national sport federations and financial management. He leads and partners in European initiatives like
