Andreas Andreou is a Lecturer in Accounting and Finance at the School of Business & Management, University of Central Lancashire Cyprus (UCLan Cyprus). He holds an Associate Chartered Accountant qualification from ICAEW, a Master of Arts in International Relations from the University of Warwick, and a Joint BA in European and Chinese Studies from the University of Nottingham. He is also a Certified Internal Auditor (IIA Global).
His research focuses on international relations and politics, including North East Asia, South-east Asia, BRICSAM, and the SCO. He examines American, Russian, European, and Chinese foreign policies, realist theories, and the interplay of internal/external factors in state interests. Notably, he studies the Cyprus problem and peace processes. His work has been published in the International Journal on World Peace.
Professionally, he serves as Financial Controller at Arlyco Ltd (2014–present) and previously worked as Senior Auditor II at KPMG Nicosia (2011–2014). He teaches workshops in Financial and Management Accounting.
