Vanesa Fuertes is a Senior Lecturer in Social Policy and Sociology at the University of the West of Scotland (UK). She specializes in public/social policy, policy governance, labour market policies, welfare reforms, and socio-economic disadvantages. She holds a Ph.D. from Edinburgh Napier University (2017) and has conducted research for entities such as the Scottish Government, ILO, and European Commission.
