Van Nguyen

Dr. Van Nguyen is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Ophthalmology at the Keck School of Medicine of USC, serving as Director of the Ophthalmology Inpatient Consult Service. He specializes in glaucoma and cataract treatment, with expertise in minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS) and traditional techniques like trabeculectomy. His clinical practice emphasizes patient-centered care, combining evidence-based approaches with emerging technologies.

Education: MD from Louisiana State University School of Medicine (New Orleans), followed by ophthalmology residency at the University of Missouri and a glaucoma fellowship at USC.
