Roma P Patel

Roma P Patel, MD, MBA, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology at Baylor College of Medicine. She serves as Chief of Ophthalmology Service at Ben Taub Hospital, specializing in glaucoma and cataract surgery. Her clinical practice focuses on advanced glaucoma interventions, minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS), and combined cataract-glaucoma procedures.

Education: MD from Baylor College of Medicine (Houston, TX), MBA from Rice University (Houston, TX), residency at University of California Davis Eye Center (Sacramento, CA), and glaucoma fellowship at Duke Eye Center (Durham, NC).
