Valentina Alfarano is a Research Fellow in Linguistics at the University of Oslo's Faculty of Humanities, Department of Linguistics and Scandinavian Studies. Her postdoctoral project focuses on comparative-historical analysis of clausal structure in Reefs-Santa Cruz languages. She holds a PhD from INALCO (2021), completing the first grammar of Nalögo.
