Uta Graff

Prof. Uta Graff holds the Chair of Design and Structure in the Department of Architecture at the TUM School of Engineering and Design since 2012. Her academic career includes teaching at University of Applied Sciences Würzburg (2010–2012), visiting professorships at the China Academy of Art and Berlin University of the Arts (UdK), and professional experience with renowned firms like Peter Zumthor and gmp Architekten. Her research focuses on architectural design processes as systematic knowledge generation, with interdisciplinary exploration of design practice and spatial analysis.

Education: Studied architecture at Technical University of Braunschweig and ETH Zurich, followed by research roles at Berlin University of the Arts under Professors Grazioli and Krischanitz.
