Dr. Troy David Ouellette is an Assistant Professor of Studio Art at Brock University's Marilyn I. Walker School of Fine and Performing Arts. He holds a PhD from York University and specializes in Assemblage Theory, technology, and conceptual art. His creative practice integrates electronics, new media, sound art, architecture, and eco-design aesthetics. Ouellette previously served as Sculpture Facilitator at the Banff Centre for the Arts (1999–2006), collaborating with First Nations and international artists. His research explores intersections of theory, technology, and environmental sustainability, emphasizing non-anthropocentric perspectives.

Research interests include Affect Theory, Actor Network Theory, and Synæsthetics—a concept bridging sensory experiences through data-driven systems rather than biological mechanisms.
