Tristan Angenendt

Tristan Angenendt is a renowned guitarist and Professor of Guitar at the University of Music and Drama Rostock (hmt Rostock). A leading figure in contemporary classical guitar, he is celebrated for his brilliant technique, expressive performances, and dedication to diverse repertoire. His career spans solo recitals across Europe and South America, chamber music collaborations, and co-founding the Angenendt Guitar Duo with his wife. He has garnered over 30 international competition awards, solidifying his status as Germany's most successful guitarist of his generation.

Education:

• Studied under Prof. Hubert Käppel at the University of Music and Dance Cologne (HfMT Köln) from age 14.
• Further studies with Aniello Desiderio at the Koblenz International Guitar Academy.
• Masterclasses with leading global guitarists.

Artistic Contributions: His debut CD Between the Centuries (featuring 20th/21st century works including world premieres) received critical acclaim. He has performed on radio/TV broadcasts reaching 20 countries and regularly serves as a competition judge.
