Trevor Findley is a Clinical Professor and clinical instructor in the Food Law and Policy Clinic at Harvard Law School. He previously served in the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), where he drafted regulations for the National Bioengineered Food Disclosure Standard and worked on farm programs, conservation initiatives, and crop insurance. Before USDA, he led federal advocacy efforts for the Organic Farming Research Foundation.
- Education: LLM in Food and Agricultural Law (University of Arkansas), JD (Willamette University College of Law), MA in Education (UNLV), BA in International Studies (Willamette University).
His research focuses on environmental law, food labeling policies, and poverty law. He advises on agricultural regulations and consumer protection. As part of Harvard Law School’s clinical programs, he engages in advocacy to strengthen food systems and economic justice.
Active in legal practice, he maintains membership in the Oregon State Bar and has deep roots in rural Oregon.
