Dr. Travis Malone is the appointed Dean of the Batten Honors College at Virginia Wesleyan University (VWU), effective post-2020/2021 academic year. Previously, he served as Professor of Theatre and Founding Dean of the Susan S. Goode School of Arts and Humanities. His roles included overseeing construction of the Fine and Performing Arts Center, fundraising, and faculty coordination. He holds a Ph.D. in Theatre from Bowling Green State University, a Master’s from Kansas State University, and a Bachelor’s from Sterling College.
