Travis A. Berger

Dr. Travis A. Berger serves as Dean of the College of Business, Communication, and Leadership at Alvernia University, alongside his role as Associate Professor of Business and Leadership. His interdisciplinary academic background combines administration, leadership studies, and education. Dr. Berger’s research focuses on leadership language systems, sustainable competitive advantage, strategic talent management, and high performer development. He consults via Vide Consulting Group, specializing in leadership, strategy, and operational excellence for diverse sectors including energy, finance, and technology.

Education: PhD in Administration & Leadership Studies (Indiana University of PA), MA in Education (Alvernia University), BA (Penn State University). Awards include the IUP Doctoral Fellowship and Phi Beta Kappa honors. Active in Academy of Management and International Leadership Association.

Teaches courses challenging students to rethink leadership, management, and strategy. Public speaker with executive coaching experience for international business leaders. Co-founded Vide Consulting Group to deliver leadership programs for organizations.
