Traci Haydu

Traci Haydu is a Professor of Exercise Science at Maryville College, serving within the Division of Health Sciences & Outdoor Studies. She earned her B.S. from Eastern Michigan University and completed her M.S. and Ph.D. at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Beyond her academic role, she directs the Wilkinson Honors Program, emphasizing her commitment to student-focused education and leadership development.

Her research and teaching interests span biomechanics, kinesiology, and health promotion. She integrates wellness, leadership, and vocation into courses like Kinesiology (EXS 332) and Physiology of Exercise (EXS 345), while also contributing to the First-Year Seminar (FYS 110) curriculum. She actively mentors students, guiding them toward graduate programs and careers through personalized advising.
