Tracey Williams

Tracey Williams is a Senior Lecturer in Accounting at Swansea University's School of Management, specializing in financial and management accounting. She holds an MEng in Chemical Engineering from Imperial College London and is a Chartered Accountant (ACA) qualified with Coopers and Deloitte. With over 10 years of teaching experience, she focuses on advanced financial accounting, performance management, and innovative teaching methods. She serves as Programme Director for postgraduate accounting and finance courses and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (Advance HE).

Her research explores teaching methodologies, including accelerated learning and block teaching effectiveness. Notable publications include studies on auditor independence (Corporate Ownership and Control, 2020) and the impact of technology in education (EDULEARN Proceedings, 2024). She teaches modules such as Advanced Performance Management (MN-M572) and Strategic Business Reporting (MN-M070), emphasizing critical analysis of complex business problems.
