Tracey Sach is a Professor in Health Economics at the University of Southampton, affiliated with the School of Primary Care, Population Sciences and Medical Education. She holds the title of NIHR Senior Investigator and has over 20 years of academic experience, previously serving at the University of East Anglia and the University of Nottingham. Her research focuses on health economics, particularly economic evaluations alongside randomized controlled trials (RCTs) and outcome measurement using non-monetary preference-based methods. Her teaching roles include leading the 'Health Economics and Evaluation for Public Health' module on the MSc in Public Health and supervising medical and postgraduate research projects. She contributes to medical education through modules like MEDI2045 and critical appraisal training.
