Tracey Sach is a Professor in Health Economics within the School of Primary Care, Population Sciences and Medical Education at the University of Southampton. She previously held roles at the University of East Anglia and University of Nottingham. Her academic career spans over two decades, focusing on health economics and clinical trial methodologies.

Research Interests: Health economics, economic evaluation methodologies (especially in randomized controlled trials), outcome measurement (including preference-based methods), and special interests in dermatology, falls prevention, rehabilitation, public health, and primary care. Her work emphasizes translating evidence into policy and practice through collaborations with the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR).
Grants and Projects: Current NIHR-funded projects include optimizing maternal and perinatal death surveillance, preventing food allergies in infants, antimicrobial stewardship in primary care, and acne treatment trials. Her collaborations span dermatology, respiratory medicine, and public health, with total funding exceeding £12M.
