Tracey McHenry, PhD, is a Professor of English at Eastern Washington University (EWU), affiliated with the Department of English in the College of Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences. She joined EWU in 2000 after completing her PhD in English linguistics at Purdue University with a focus on Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL) and cultural studies.
Her research interests span the English language's historical development, contemporary dialects, and global manifestations (World Englishes).
