Dr. Michael C. Raines is an Instructional Associate Professor of TESL in the Department of Modern Languages at the University of Mississippi. He serves as the Co-Graduate Program Coordinator for the Ph.D. in Second Language Studies Program. Prior to this, he taught at the University of Alabama, where he directed ESL and Foreign Language Education programs and managed a federal grant. He has extensive teaching experience in Mexico City and abroad, focusing on TESL, applied linguistics, and multicultural education.
