Prof. Dr. Torsten Faber is a faculty member at Flensburg University of Applied Sciences, where he has served as Head of the Wind Energy Technology Institute (WETI) since 2010. He holds a doctorate in steel and timber construction from the Technical University of Hamburg-Harburg and previously led the rotor blades and structural engineering department at Germanischer Lloyd (2003–2010).
