Torgrim Log

Torgrim Log is a Professor in Safety Science at the Institute of Safety, Chemistry, and Bioengineering at Western Norway University of Applied Sciences (HVL). With a 20% appointment at HVL, he maintains an active role in research and education despite full-time employment at Gassco. His career spans academia and industry, including 15 years as a technical safety advisor at Equinor.

He actively supervises graduate students in advanced fire dynamics and industrial fire safety, contributing to both fundamental and applied research in safety engineering.
