Tonya Rhodes Jupiter is the Associate Dean for Experiential Learning and Public Interest Programs at Tulane Law School since 2021. Overseeing clinics, trial advocacy, moot court, externships, and Tulane’s pro bono program, she plays a central role in skills training and public interest initiatives.

Her research and administrative focus spans Experiential Learning, Legal Education Reform, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI). She has redesigned the Trial Advocacy program, integrated DEI into the curriculum, and mentored students and faculty.
Scientific Awards:
- Monte Lemann Award for Distinguished Teaching (2021)
As a classroom teacher, she designed Tulane’s first stand-alone judicial externship seminar and continues to bridge practical training with academic rigor.
