Dr. Tonya N. Davis is a Professor at Baylor University's School of Education, where she serves as Director of the Applied Behavior Analysis Program and Coordinator of the undergraduate Special Education Program. She holds a Ph.D. in Special Education from the University of Texas at Austin, an M.S.Ed. in Educational Psychology, and a B.S. in Special Education from Baylor University. Dr. Davis is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst-Doctoral Level (BCBA-D) and maintains teaching certifications in Special Education.
Her research focuses on:
- Applied behavior analysis for developmental disabilities including autism
- Treatment of severe challenging behaviors
- Communication interventions for children with autism
- Training teachers and behavior analysts in evidence-based practices
