Tony McGrath

Tony McGrath is a Lecturer in Film at QUT Creative Industries, focusing on post-production education and supervision of graduating cohorts. He has an extensive career in film and editing, including work on music videos, car commercials, and feature films. Born in Ipswich, Queensland, he graduated from Griffith Film School and QUT Drama. Prior to academia, he worked globally, editing for MTV Australia, Paul Street, and Russell Crowe, and directed the documentary The Fall of Occupy LA. He returned to Brisbane in 2015 and continues editing for Cutting Edge Post while pursuing independent film projects.
