Tommer Ender is the Interim Director of the Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) and Deputy Director for Research in the Electronics, Optics, and Systems Directorate (EOSD), where he oversees an 800-person unit with a $300 million research portfolio across three laboratories: Applied Systems Laboratory (ASL), Electro-Optical Systems Laboratory (EOSL), and Electronic Systems Laboratory (ELSYS). He also contributes to strategic leadership as a member of the GTRI Executive Council.
Education:
- B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from Georgia Tech
Research Interests focus on collaborative, executable Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools that leverage multidisciplinary design optimization and trade space analytics for complex systems. His work bridges systems engineering, technology transition, and advanced analytics.
