Tom Lasley

Tom Lasley is an Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of Kansas School of Law, where he teaches the Elder Law Field Placement Program since 2023. He practices law with Kansas Legal Services, Inc. in Kansas City, KS, focusing on vulnerable elderly clients. Previously, he spent 40 years in private practice as a Director/Shareholder at prominent Kansas City law firms, specializing in estate planning, elder law, and real estate law. Lasley holds a J.D. (1978) and B.A. (1975) from the University of Missouri at Kansas City.

Teaching: Supervises student interns in Elder Law Field Placement, emphasizing direct client interaction with low-income elderly populations.
