Elizabeth Valentin is an Assistant Professor of Law and Director of the Elder Law Clinic at New York Law School. Her expertise spans elder law, special needs planning, and trusts and estates. Prior to academia, she practiced law for 18 years as a partner at Littman Krooks LLP, focusing on safeguarding clients' self-determination rights amid disability and aging.

Research & Advocacy: Driven by legal education and advocacy for aging populations, she co-authored Elder Law, Special Needs Planning and Will Drafting (NY State Bar Association). She actively participates in CLE events and serves on the Executive Committee of the NY State Bar Association’s Elder Law and Special Needs Planning Section.
Teaching: Instructs courses such as Advanced Legal Methods, Elder Law Clinic, and Wills and Trusts. Previously taught as an Adjunct Professor at CUNY School of Law, co-leading the Disability and Aging Justice Clinic.
Leadership: Serves as First District Delegate for the NY State Bar Association and collaborates with community organizations to advance legal literacy in aging-related issues.
