Tom Hartley

Tom Hartley is Lecturer in Health and Physical Education at the University of Tasmania's School of Education. Drawing from his experience as a teacher and school leader in Tasmanian education systems, he focuses on bridging theoretical and practical learning.

His teaching covers Health and Physical Activity, HPE Pedagogy, and Sports Coaching. He contributes to the Professional Experience Task Group, supporting pre-service teachers during placements.

Research interests include technology-enhanced learning, inclusive education models, and student engagement strategies across HPE, Science, and Mathematics.
