Tom Elliff

Dr. Tom Elliff is a Lecturer at Oklahoma Baptist University's Hobbs School of Theology and Ministry, and serves as Mentor and Facilitator in Missions for the Tom Elliff Center for Missions. With a 42-year pastoral ministry background, he previously held leadership roles at the International Mission Board (IMB) as President (2011-2014) and Senior Vice President for Spiritual Nurture and Church Relations (2005-2009). His career includes missionary service in Zimbabwe (1981-1983) and pastoral roles across Arkansas, Texas, Colorado, and Oklahoma.

• Education: Bachelor's from Ouachita Baptist University, Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Doctor of Ministry from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary

The Tom Elliff Center for Missions at OBU advances global evangelism by providing scholarships and training to students called to vocational missions. Dr. Elliff partners with the Avery T. Willis Center for Global Outreach to equip students through hands-on mission experiences and forums with field leaders.
