Tom Blomfield is a Professor of Oboe at the Royal Academy of Music and Joint Principal Oboe of the Philharmonia Orchestra. He joined the Academy's faculty shortly after graduating in 2017, studying under Christopher Cowie and Ian Hardwick. His career includes Principal Oboe roles with major UK orchestras such as the London Symphony Orchestra, BBC Symphony Orchestra, and Aurora Orchestra.
