Todd Moon is a Professor and Department Head of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Utah State University. He holds a PhD from the University of Utah (1991), and BS/MS degrees from Brigham Young University (1988).
His research encompasses error correction coding, digital communications, signal processing, and stochastic systems. He has published extensively on algorithms for communication systems, optimization methods, and statistical signal processing.
Professor Moon has received multiple teaching and advising awards, including Outstanding Teacher of the Year (1996, 2007, 2024) and Outstanding Advisor of the Year (1998, 2000). He has authored several textbooks on error correction coding and signal processing algorithms.
