Todd Meehan

Todd Meehan is a Professor of Percussion and Division Director of Instrumental Studies at the Baylor University School of Music. He is a co-founder of the ensembles So Percussion and the Meehan/Perkins Duo, with international performance experience spanning orchestral, chamber, and solo contexts. Meehan has premiered over 50 new percussion works and released recordings on multiple labels.

Meehan’s research and professional activities focus on percussion performance innovation, pedagogical tools, and lifestyle design for musicians. He founded Liquidrum, a percussion company producing performance accessories and the Liquidrum Practice Journal, and endorses major percussion brands including Pearl Drums and Zildjian cymbals.
