Todd Allee

Todd Allee is an Associate Professor of Government and Politics at the University of Maryland. His research focuses on international organizations, trade policy, dispute settlement mechanisms, and treaty design, with particular emphasis on the World Trade Organization (WTO) and preferential trade agreements. He holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Michigan and previously taught at the University of Illinois.

His work employs quantitative methods and political economy frameworks to analyze trade, investment, and territorial disputes. Key areas of interest include treaty provisions, textual analysis of agreements, and the interplay between multilateral and bilateral frameworks. Recent research examines the design of trade and investment agreements using statistical and text-mining techniques.
